Ralph's Personal BiographyI have had over 34 years of experience driving in the UK and in several countries and on several continents, including Europe, Asia and America. I drive both manual and automatic cars and I have driven on both sides of the road. I live in Palmers Green, London N13. I have been franchised with the BSM driving school for nearly 7 years and I have attended most of their training courses. I have taught students in a manual car for 1 year and in an automatic car for nearly 5 years. Automatic is fun in town because you do not have to worry about the gears and you can concentrate more on the road ahead. Since 2005 I have been trained at the Queen Elizabeth Foundation (QEF) in Carshalton, Surrey to teach people with a disability and I have taught several disabled students to pass their practical driving test over the years. I am registered with the QEF and with Motability. I also recently attended an Advanced Mobility course at the QEF to teach disabled and elderly students to drive. I am registered with the DSA to give Pass Plus lessons. The Pass Plus scheme has been designed by the DSA to give you a wider experience and includes driving on motorways. It is linked to 15 major insurance companies who offer reductions on your insurance premium on successful completion of the 6-10 hour course. There is no further test involved, but a certificate will be issued to you on completion. I am an approved BSM Mock Test instructor and I give Mock Tests to all my own students and to some of the students of my colleagues. Our Mock Tests are approved by the DSA. I sit in the back of every practical driving test I can, where the student is agreeable, so I am fully knowledgable about structure of the test, the test routes used, what the examiner will say to you and how he will mark any faults you make. I can help: 1. Novice drivers who need a complete course of tuition. 2. Partly trained drivers who need to pass their practical test. 3. Students requiring semi-intensive training courses. 4. Qualified drivers who need further training. 5. Qualified drivers who need re-training to use adaptions. 6. Stroke sufferers. 7. Amputees. I like to make my driving lessons a fun experience as well as being serious.
